According to Mr Sujeet Kumar Mishra the half and hour delivery of cakes will be started in 22 cities – Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Varanasi, Pune, Zirakpur, Navi-Mumbai, Thane, Dehradun, Agra, Ajmer, Chennai, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Lucknow, Noida, Kalyan-Dombivali, Kolkata, Mohali, Chandigarh, Kharar, and Panchkula.
The CEO and Co-Founder Of Winni also informed that the express delivery of cakes in less than 30 minutes will be extended to 100 more cities in the next 6 months. Towards the end of the financial year 700 cities in India will be able to enjoy half an hour delivery from Winni.
“Some of our existing vendor base already had capacity to start quick commerce. We are leveraging their capability for the foray into this segment. We are readying the rest of our partners to start quick deliveries. At present we have started with cakes but we will expand this service even for other gift items like customised mugs, customised cushions etc,” Mishra said
