Growing up siblings with the same age group means you have 2 wardrobes. You get all the rights to each and every clothing item in your sibling’s wardrobe but unofficially. This is something you know, but not your brother or sister. So, you can wear their stuff as long as they don’t find it out. How many of you sneaked in your siblings’ wardrobe to steal clothes, accessories, money etc? I think everyone.
Watching cartoons by turn
Watching cartoons – this was the best part of the day, agreed? I mean you went through the tough routine of school, homework, tuition just to enjoy an hour of your favorite cartoon in life. But usually, we all had one television in the house, so you were supposed to divide time with your sibling. Even though the waiting period for your turn was frustrating, you still enjoyed it.
Marking boundaries on bed
Sleeping on a king size bed all by yourself is definitely so relaxing. But it is still nothing compared to the fun of marking territory in bed with your sibling, right? You were not allowed to cross your area even when asleep. Sleeping still all night or purposely trespassing in their area just to irritate them felt so good.
Try new tricks on sibling
Talking about the time when technology hadn’t taken over, kids actually knew how to have fun. They would teach each other funny games in school (sometimes life-threatening too) and it was our duty to come back home and try it on your sibling. Remember trying so-called hypnosis on your brother or sister? Well, that’s just another memory in your vault.
Playing hide and seek
Having siblings in life means no need to look out for friends to play with. You two were enough to play any type of game. Be it cricket, hide and seek, doctor-patient. You two would have fun.
Secretly eat their portion too
No stealing your food is great. But don’t you miss the time when they would steal your food and then you cried all day to get a bigger piece.
