Having a bad or a boring day and suddenly the rains come and drenches you with its drops of happiness? Well, many of us can relate to this already. Rainy days not just bring along the beautiful raindrops and rainbows, but they also bring happiness, calm, peace and beauty to nature, right? Well, for me, a rainy day is like the silver lining that for a while, sets me free from anything and everything that holds me back. I could order cake online and sit on my couch facing the window and could stare at the rain pouring from the sky for hours. No, I am not a freak depressed, instead, it provides me calmness and relief beyond my understanding! So, here are a few reasons that would state how and why a rainy day could make you feel much better. Let’s get started!
Cooling Down Effect:
Well, when you are already agitated by the heatwave and suddenly it starts raining, believe me, it’s not rain that is pouring but it is the sheer blessing. Moreover, if you happened to get drenched in the rain, you would feel your body cooling down. Many people cringe with the idea of getting drenched in rain. But the first rain of the season does not get you drenched but happy instead!
Raindrop Races:
We all have done this our entire childhood, right? Sitting on the window pane on a rainy day, betting on the raindrops to make it down the window first with our friends. I still believe that raindrop races are fun even today. And, I do it all the time with my colleagues at work.
Motivation & Productivity:
I really have no reasons to back my statement here, but, believe me, I get much more productive and motivated when it’s raining outside. To quote you an easy example, the way you clean up your room on a rainy day after putting the music on is way much more relaxing. Also, getting online cake delivery once the cleaning is done, is a delightful treat to yourself, right?
Colorful Umbrellas:
Next time it rains, do not forget to notice how pretty and colorful the world appears when it rains. Yes, all the colorful and right umbrellas make the world look much more beautiful and vibrant. To enhance the beauty of a rainy day, I would highly recommend you to go for a bright and colorful umbrella.
The Aroma Of Wet Soil:
The magical spell of a rainy day is clearly brought out with the smell of the wet soil. The amazing aroma of the wet soil and the crystal raindrops make a perfect blend of what I call is nature.
Rainy Day = No Guilt:
The best part about enjoying a rainy day is that it never makes you feel guilty about anything at all. How? Well, skipping your running on a rainy day, won’t make you feel any guilty. Getting away from your laundry won’t make you feel lethargic. Likewise, staying in front of your TV all day in your favorite pajamas is something you can enjoy on a rainy day.
So, these are the foremost and basic reasons why I enjoy a rainy day more than others. Bring the best out of your personality on a rainy day and please your soul the most.
